Kindy programs in Queensland are a part-time educational program for children in year before they start Prep. It’s 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year and from January 2024, is free for for all Queensland children attending a government-approved kindergarten program.
Funding is received from the Queensland Government, through our Central Governing Body, the Gowrie (Qld) Inc which funds the costs of education for each eligible child in our centre.
There are out of pocket costs for families that utilise After Kindy Care, and to those who are not eligible for the Free Kindy funding. Please reach out if you have any questions about this.
